# Limit opening

Some exchanges (e.g., Gate) set default futures leverage too high, limiting your new positions. To increase your position, lower the leverage on XAPY or directly on the exchange for that token.

After lowering the leverage, repeat the rebalancing process on XAPY so the bot can continue increasing your position.
